The annual Bonfire Night will be held on Saturday 1st November from 5.30pm following the day’s fixtures. This is a great event which we are hoping to get really behind this year, so please support and we actively encourage you to bring down friends and WAGS for the evening!
In order to make this evening a success, all players playing that day and/or attending the evening are strongly encouraged (and kindly asked) to bring a firework each. Captains will be instructed to initiate fines for those not getting involved! The evening will commence following the return of the 1st and 2nd XV from their respective away fixtures. The 3rd XV are scheduled at home.
The Bonfire will be lit ~5:45pm and fireworks commence ~6:30pm. There will also be food (Hot Dogs) on sale. So, please:
– Return to the club from your away fixtures!
– Donate a firework at the team meet! Or at training if you are going direct. Please don’t leave it to the last minute.
– Invite friends and family. It’s a nice evening before you head out for the night (or home)!
We look forward to seeing you there!
