Saturday, June 13, 12:00pm at Chiswick Rugby Club
Philosopher, rugby coach, legend – this is a phrase I have often heard to describe the giant that is Rocky Skinner. His experience and passion for the game of rugby not only aided in the development of young rugby players, but it also developed them into men.
It only seems right that we hold a rugby match in honour of his memory. Rocky touched the lives of so many people in such a positive way, and this is a way for him to that again through this event.
Rocky had an effect on many rugby teams, but the four teams he spent most of his time coaching were Richmond, Middlesex, Rosslyn Park and Chiswick. So young boys and a vets alike from all of these teams will come together to play in a rugby game that promises to be of high quality (but also low quality), but nevertheless it will be a spectacle not to be missed!
Also at this event:
Food and drink
Prizes to be won
All proceeds will be going to the Trinity Hospice who were instrumental in providing care and support at such a difficult time, and continue to provide care to many individuals and support to families.
From this event we hope to raise money that will ensure the Hospice can continue their great work and keep inspiring people that even the smallest of lights can be found in the darkest of places.
We hope to see you all there!
