Even though the Chiswick team was much changed, a stone a man heavier and a yard or two slower from the Christmas break, excellent defence from Chiswick earned them the W.
The scrum and lineout functioned very well all game which allowed the backs freedom to conjure up some magic in midfield.
Highlights from the game was the line speed from every team member with special mentions to Matt Cooper, Tom Gadsby and Tom Harper for some beauties.
The 1st try came in from James Dibble who was the benefactor of Chiswick working there patterns through multiple phases. The hooker hit the hole in the Harrow line and somehow had enough gas to get over from the 22.
The next try from Simon Hallet was superb. The forwards went through phases before the backs were released deep in the Chiswick half, the bulky pairing of Hallet and Harper created room to release Daniel Purkiss coming into the line from 15. Purkiss released Ed Peach on the wing who carried deep into the Harrow half before swift passing involving Purkiss, Harper and finally Hallet to score a classic Chiswick try.
The main highlight of the game though was still to come in the 2nd half when Matt Cooper (playing at 8) scored from a pushover try. BEAUTIFUL!
Some top performances from Tom Gadsby (MOM), Simon Allen Clarke, Ben Kelly, Daniel Purkiss and Chris Hitchcock.
Harrow were a much better team than when we played them earlier in the season and will rise up the table if they can continue that form for the rest of the season.
