Chiswick Pumped for Derby Fixture

Chiswick head to bitter rivals Hammersmith & Fulham this weekend, keen to put last week’s cup disappointment behind them and continue their charge up the table.

Coaches Andy Barrington and Sinan Rabee name a more settle line up this week, with Captain Dan Sutherland returning alongside the likes of Simon Hallett, Max Burrows, Dan Purkiss and Tom Steer in the backs. James Bunbury is missing however after sustaining a bad ankle injury in the last fixture against Tabard, so Rhemayo Brooks is named on the bench after his fine performance last week against Norwich. In the forwards, Tom Shattock, Simon Allen-Clarke and Jon Olley return, with Tom Gadsby moving to Number 8 after his debut last weekend.

Although performing poorly in the League there is no doubt that Hammersmith & Fulham will be up for what is always a tasty fixture.

Captain Dan Sutherland added: “This group are really looking forward to the game this weekend, away at Hammersmith & Fulham is always a big game. For us, it’s important to keep our consistency going, in the league but also continuing our winning form against a local rival. Plus, we have a huge birthday to celebrate post-match!”
