CRFC 2017/18 Social Calendar!

A fine season is almost upon us and here is what you have been waiting for – the 2017/18 Social Calendar!

This season is our 60th Season. What is great is that we have the return of a Gentlemen’s Black Tie dinner at Twickenham for our 60th anniversary! Hard to think the club is still younger than a certain first team front row regular… This will be a fantastic evening, however for this season it replaces the Awards dinner of recent years due to the celebratory year.

Up first on Saturday 16th September is Captain’s cocktails.

This is the traditional start of the season, which falls in line with the first home game of the season. All attendees are expected to attend in Hawaiian shirt (and more if you prefer!) and each Captain (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and Club) will be creating a cocktail for the club. Some horrible concoction’s lie ahead on the lines of SLM’s pungent Pink Cava, Rose and Irn-Bru stomach turner last year.

We will be creating events for the club via our Facebook page, so please look out for the events at

Below is the full social year’s schedule, with some later events TBC. Some returns of seasoned events and a couple of new ones! Due to fixture arrangements, we only have two Super Saturdays (3 or more teams at home) this season.
